For anyone who hasn't had counselling or therapy before, the thought of talking to a complete stranger about something that's troubling you may seem daunting. For much of the time, friends and family can help with day-to-day problems, but like many people you may have come to the point where you feel you need to talk to someone outside your own circle about something that is distressing you or causing you dissatisfaction.
