Online therapy is a highly effective form of support and often more convenient for those people seeking help who, for a variety of reasons, can't meet face-to-face.
If you choose to see me for online counselling, we will work together in much the same as I work with clients I see in my private practice. In other words, we will have an initial session where you will have the opportunity to talk about some of the issues that are troubling you, before deciding whether you wish to continue working with me on a regular basis.
As with face-to-face work, you will receive the same level of support and confidentiality as meeting me in person in a traditional therapeutic setting.
I prefer to work with Zoom where possible, and I will send you an invitation each week for our sessions. Before our first session, I will email you a copy of my counselling agreement setting out the terms of our work together and information on GDPR, together an information sheet on working online.
If this is of interest, but you'd like to talk this through with my first, do feel free to get in touch and I'd be happy to talk it through with you in a bit more detail.
